Wear Good Luck
Tired of bringing a rabbit's foot, a four-leaf clover, or a charmed coin? Chinese superstitions are not as elaborate when it comes to good luck charms. In fact, simply wearing a red underwear can attract good luck as effectively as a horse shoe or a scarab beetle. In China, red is the color of good luck. In fact, it is used as a holiday and wedding color. Chinese babies are given their names at a ceremony called red-egg.
Avoid unlucky hotel rooms
If you're checking-in at a hotel while you're visiting your favorite casino, stay away from unlucky hotel rooms. Chinese superstitions say that hotel rooms that end with number 4 (four) bring bad luck. Number 4 (四; accounting 肆; pinyin sė) is considered an unlucky because it is pronounced the same as the word "death". On the other hand, try these hotel room numbers of good luck: 8, 18, 13, 168, 198 or 798.
Don't enter the beast's mouth
Don't enter casinos through their main entrance! Chinese superstition considers the main entrance as cursed. An example is the entrance of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas which was patterned to the mouth of the large MGM lion. They consider it a double curse to walk into the mouth of the beast.
